Karisto has had the pleasure of this lovely breed for 7 years, and can honestly say have had pitfalls, but to out way the pitfalls the overwhelming pleasure that this breed gives back to you.

The first bitch (Pigmented Cream) Mishka came in Feb. 1995. This girl had to be spayed at the tender age of 2 1/2 years, due to her showing Sharpei Fevers.

Then came Wispa my second Pei, I had waited nearly 3 years for a Chocolate bitch, when old enough, she produced a litter to Chippa that produced a strong healthy litter, of which the only bitch had to be a keeper, I named her Alpha, her litter brother Luther has currently qualified for Crufts 2000 & 2001. Unfortunately I had to have this darling babe "Wispa" put to sleep on the 26 January 2001, please take time to visit her site, just click on Wispa's photo, here on this page to be taken straight there.

I also had another pitfall along the way with my Chocolate male. At the tender age of 4 months Joshua was diagnosed has having NO HIP SOCKETS IN EITHER HIP, so this young lad, now after months of treatment, doesn't need the help of tablets etc and lives his life to the full.
